R.L.Lovatt Ltd have been members of the National Federation Of Roofing Contractors Ltd (NFRC) since 1959 and are NRFC certified in Slating, Tiling and Heritage Roofing.
NFRC ensures that all members offer high standards of workmanship and business practice through a strict code of practice and vetting procedure, including site inspections and adhering to the Government endorsed standards. This is why it makes sense for our team to be trained and certified with NFRC managed accreditation scheme; RoofCERT.
RoofCERT provides individual roofers with visible proof of their essential roofing skills, technical knowledge and competence. Not only is this essential for us to know our roofers are certified, but it also provides our customers and clients peace of mind when it comes to hiring professional and competent roofers. It gives us the proof we can roof!
Unfortunately, unqualified and inexperienced rogue traders are all too often giving roofers a bad name by providing unfinished, unsafe and bad roofing works. RoofCERT means that our customers can trust that our workforce are highly trained and highly skilled at all aspects of roofing.
A recent customer of Lovatts, Brian, explains the pain of hiring a rogue roofer;
“After the worst experience with a rogue roofer – I was recommended to Lovatts. We have a 17th century Listed cottage so it needed someone special with heritage experience. Boy did I get it. Great professionalism and great service, they redid and relaid the back of my roof to a fantastic standard. The guys that did it were brilliant – they certainly knew what they were doing. I just wish I heard of them and used them instead of the idiots that pretended to be roofers! Lovatts everything I needed in a roofing company and more. The biggest compliment I can make is that the back looked so good – I have now booked them in to do the front!”
We look forward to all of our roofers being fully accredited by RoofCERT and are proud support this initiative that helps put credibility and professionalism back into the roofing industry.
